Another Arkansas weekend ride June 2, 3, 4 2006

How many guys in for another ..hopefully dry weekend in Arkansas??

Meet at the Anglers lodge Friday evening. I have to work that Friday, so I will just blast down and be there by 9pm or so. Take a nice long ride on Sat, head home on Sunday. I hope to have a FJR by then!!!

Just seeing if there is anyone wanting to go again this soon.. Smitty

I just reserved my room at the Anglers Lodge. If you are going, you had better get a room. As of now, 05:10 pm Thursd. 05/19, there are two queen sized rooms for Friday and a few more for Saturday.

I have gone ahead and reserved the few rooms that were available under my name so that we would be able to get some rooms for sure.

Just got of the phone with Smitty, he will take one. One queen sized room left. Which they do have roll aways available.

PM me if you want the room, otherwise I will release them by Sunday afternoon.

I'd like to, but I have already been volunteered by the wife to work at the local library golf/barbque fundraiser that weekend.

Since she lets me buy all the bikes I want, it would be wise for me to stay on her good side.

I know, I know... but when somebody proves to me sucking up doesn't work, I will quit.

October sounds good though. Please keep it in mind, as I would like to come down again.

Smitty, as we discussed today, it's going to be tough for me to get another weekend pass, since I will be gone 5 days over Memorial Day riding the Blue Ridge Mountains. But I'll give it a try.

Maybe you'd like to come along on that one? We're roughing it, only tents allowed.

BTW, it was a great ride back today on the new GS. It's an awesome bike that can be leaned over almost horizontal without draggin' a thing! :clapping:

Now the question is, which bike do I take to the BRP? Yikes!

Cool ride Steve,,,, Hope you can make it. I just wanted to get down there one more time before the weather gets to warm. If anyone wants to do the road planning, feel free to do so. I will follow in the pack, but I will be happy to put a map together...

Bummer I can't make it, however there is a chance I could get out of my commitment for that weekend, but I wouldn't know before May 31st or June 1st. So, if I could get loose.... is anyone willing to double up at the Angler?

Once again I can't make it I'm already committed to going with the RAT pack from RPM Motorwerks for a ride down to Alabama to visit the Barber museum. If you decide to move this to another weekend, PM me as I am DEFINITELY in! If not, have a great trip, I'm sorry I keep missing them!

Plus there's no curvy roads in Indiana.. Well, ok, there's a couple. But NOT like in southerns MO and NW AR. SWEET!
