Hey people,

I'm going to be up in Westford, NY this week end at Cheryl's cabin. ( ex 19 off Rt 88 )

We are going to the Sunshine Fair in Cobbleskill on Saturday for the annual Hootinanny.

Cheryl thought it would be a good idea to invite some of the FJR crowd to join us and then get together for a nice scoot around on Sunday.

The weather looks to be outstanding.

I'm not the best at planning so I like to leave the route open to the locals who know the area better.

Cheryl will probably be riding her ninja so I would like to keep things at a nice pace.

Anyone interested, please PM me and we can put something together. Also there is garage space and room for another couple at the cabin if anyone is interested in making a weekend of it. I am riding up Friday after work. And will be heading back to L.I. Sunday evening.

Would be great to do some riding and hanging out before EOM.

Tim

Hey Tim,

I'm in Cherry Valley, just a stones throw from Cobleskill. I'm interested in a ride on Sunday, maybe part of Sat. Getting ready for a trip to NC and TN in 2 weeks. Maybe Adirondacks, Vt. Mass.

Paul

Paul,

PM me and we can work something out.

Maybe we can get together @ the fair. Cheryl and I are going to go Midday to catch the band, The Refrigerators, They are a great 70's band and put on a good show.

Tim

Saw this post too late unfortunately. I wish we saw this sooner. Jim and I would have been available for a ride. We were up around Glens Falls this weekend too.

Sorry you guys missed it.

Cheryl and I had a great time w/ Paul.

Too bad we are going to in on Long Island for the next few week ends or we would be able to get together for your ride this week.

Are you guys going to EOM ? We are going to be leaving from the cabin in Westford the morning of the 13th. Would be nice to ride out together.

Tim

Wow...I missed another post.

Jim and I are not going to the EOM this year. It would have been fun to ride together. Maybe we'll get together with Paul....it seems he is also not going to EOM.

Have a great time and tell the folks we say hello.

Bummer Iris, you and Jim not coming to EOM? What da' hell! So, I am the token woman rider once again? Who in the world am I going to borrow 1/2 & 1/2 from? Sheesh!

FYI... this meet is about 150 miles closer to you than last year. We all know that is only an hour to an hour & a half savings for you... but 150 miles is a 150 miles.

I, and the killa' mountains of WV will miss you guys, Heidi

Hi Heidi !!!!

Yes, sorry to tell you that you will have to carry the torch solo this time :clapping:

I wish I could play more and work less....but still have a good income.

I will miss seeing you. Jim wants us to plan an Adirondack trip and have you up here. So keep your eyes open for a post soon.

Have a great time

Well, I'll be looking for that post. Ya' know, if I know ahead of time, I probably "can do"

Heidi

PS... disappointed that you missed my smart assed remark.

Well, if your smart ass remark was the one about 150 miles, then it really isn't smart ass, just the facts.

If you guys get together later this year I'll plan on being there.

Yeah Geez, that's the one.

Iris, perhaps you and Jim should consider hosting EOM next year.

Oh, I didn't catch that. 150 mile distance takes about an hour and ten minutes to get there. Yeah, that's about right. :yahoo:

Wow, that'll really suck w/o you guys there. I thought that you were a regular staple at the meets. Are you sure that you wouldn't reconsider?

While you ponder your answer, here is a picture from last year of you, Jim and some of your riding friends:

Ooh, that's a really nice '04 right in the front of that picture. Looks like it needs a tick fix, though. And that man in the yellow... ain't he handsome? And Jeff Ashe in his Sobee squid suit.

Heidi,

So much fun, so little time. It was a great time last year with you guys. Following Grumpy thru the twisties was a blast, except when Iris took a left down that driveway :dribble: We'll see you soon.

Jim
