Just bought one on ebay for $73.51 (+$9.50 shipping) :yahoo: ...

...but the price seems to be going up everyday! $130 isn't too bad.

Some moron has some listed as 'BuyNow' for over $400 :dribble:

These are available again at MurphsKits.com.

They had a pre-order back in September and are not shipping.

This is from the Murph's Kits website:

"While we aren't able to offer the CCS-100 as a result of a cease in production, we are able to offer ..."

They lost me at Audiovox ceased production.

This is what the Murphs' web site says today:

These units are produced for us by the original manufacturer of the Audiovox unit. They include all the standard parts that came with the original Audiovox units.
The kit shown contains all the parts that the AVCC kit had. The single most critical part that MUST be the same as the AVCC is inside the servo unit. The heart of the cruise contains only one IC, it was originally a Motorola PID electric motor controller that lets the designing engineer burn a program to internal memory in this IC. Some smart guy rewrote the software to control the throttle cable using vacuum spools instead of electric motors. For the cruise kit that Murphs' is selling to work at all, it must be exactly like the AVCC unit. I would trust Murphs' kit to be exactly identical in parts and function. I can't say if the quality will be the same or not.

I just ordered the servo replacement from Murphskits. The problems I had with my CC sound exactly like the described servo failure. If this install works, it will be a huge win and not that much money. The original install was a lot of work I care not to repeat. Looking forward to getting the unit working again!
