Guys, bring your rain gear, just in case, weathermen forecasting doom and gloom. Usually wrong, although it will probably rain somewhere.

Sorry I can't catch up with you guys, Sunday would be the earliest if my houseguests leave! I am only 20 miles from the "action", if you need something though.

Enjoy and ride safe.

The weather looks like hell for Saturday for TIV and the John Ryan RTE in Akron. Trevor and I were planning on hitting the RTE, but it doesn't look good at all. I don't mind a little rain here and there, but this is going to be a washout on Saturday. Bummer.

I went to "Wheels and Wings" in Ebensburg tonight.

Looked at the cars and bikes that did show up.

Ate some wings. Then it started to rain. Hard.

Threw in the towel about 6 o'clock and called

it a night.

Maybe Saturday will be better.

How 'bout an update from Johnstown. What the hell are you guys doing there? Inquiring minds want to know. Come on KJ. You're better than this.

Not a word from anybody. I hope everyone is alright.

Looks like the rain here is finally letting up.

This has been the wettest TIV I can remember.

Now I wish I had gone, no bug guts to clean up

Rode out Friday with wife and 3 friends. Weather Friday was ideal, cool morning bright sunny afrernoon. Texted KJ to try to meet up but again this year just couldn't make it work. Headed home around 6. Sorry, no pics.

Thanks Robert and Chuck for the updates. I'll bet Saturday was a bear. Maybe when KJ dries off his tablet, we'll hear about the dismal details. How about Mike (Wineguy)? You should have an update for us folks too intelligent to ride in the deluge. ;)

Thanks for all your concerns.....we are still alive! Quick overview. Rode down to Bradford PA on Thursday to meet the Steamer for breakfast who was a no show so I made the trip to the hotel by myself. Weather was good all the way down. Charlie (Huey Lewis) and VMax Larry were already down here since Tuesday. KJ / Debbie and Steamer rolled in before dark. Had a few beverages in the parking lot to plan our next day. Best day was on Friday so we spent it at the event. Bands, bikes, and lots of people watching. Back for a BBQ at the hotel where the VMax riders entertained us with some riding shenanigans. (I'm amazed the hotel puts up with us). Saturday was rain all morning. Some riders packed it in and went home. Cleared up early afternoon so we headed back to the event to take in John Cafferty. Leaning on the stage front row. Doesn't get any better than that! After the band we left for the hotel and got caught in another downpour. Even the rain gear couldn't help us out. Sunday morning now. Currently drying my boots, gloves and helmet. Charlie and Larry left early since they have further to ride to get home. Steamer and KJ are at Walmart picking up a few things to make the ride home more comfortable. Looks like solid rain all day for my 6+ hour ride home which will commence shortly. All in all, a great weekend with great people despite the challenges Mother Nature has thrown at us! I'm sure there will be some pics shared once we can shed these gills and webbed apendages.

Great Mike! Still sounded like fun in between the rain drops or dumps. Your ride home shouldn't be all that bad. The weather doesn't look anywhere near as ominous as it did. Have a safe trip back. Thanks for the detailed info on all the fun. I'm sure there'll be more to come.

Old post but made it there last year. First timer to TIV. Really enjoyed it and thinking about going again in 2016. Did seem someone on a 2010-11 FJR. Maybe it was one of you all. Rained on me all the way there but the clouds parted for a few hours enough to ride some bikes. Looked like there was going to be a nice party that weekend.
