anyone in the sacramento area good with suspension

I was curious if there is anyone in the sacramento area that would be willing to help me get the suspension adjusted....I am somewhat suspension ignorant. My set up is stock on the forks but with a fork brace and mcl upper triple clamp replacement. The rear is a works performance shock with compression, pre load and rebound. I can go to you, or you can ride to my garage. I would be willing to compensate you. I would do this myself but is hard to check sag, etc alone and I would love to learn more about the suspension and adjustments....is this bikes biggest shortcoming to me so far.

No worries. By homework I meant you would need to determine what weight you want to use as your default weight. Solo, two-up with or without gear/baggage to set sag.

Gutter cleaning...that's easy, I need a greens keeper to make the front yard weeds look presentable. :blink:

I have my seven year old daughter this weekend so I wont be out riding this weekend, unless you happen to be riding near sac this weekend, I will be home. I live near I-80 and madison ave. I would be more than happy the exchange a beer for some help with sag height, etc...

no worries - happy to come to you. I work downtown, so the bike knows the way from riding to Sac everyday, and there's probsbly something I need from cycle gear, even if I don't really need it. but time w/ your daughter is important too, so whatever works.
