Winter returns Sunday - well it will be cold Saturday also, but that is why we have electrics.

Anyone taking a spin out tomorrow? I can't decide where I want to go, so I will follow you around instead.

Wish I could ride..fargging work. Roads are mostly dry up in the hills, watch for damp roads in the deep shade.

Hey Sam, how about a Pyramid Lake ride report?

I would but after the last 2 weekends and considering the shape of my rear tire (into the wear bars)...I think my Saturday is spoken for.

I plan to ride the foothills tomorrow. No set time or route, but would be passing your way.

Matter of fact I'm heading out in 30 minutes to downtown to join the Mrs in some Argentine Tango. Free parking in Old Town amongst the cruisers.

A happy wife means I get to ride.

Trying to finish off the tires this weekend also! They are just a tad bit over the wear bars...

Yebutt, you've seen mine, into the wear bars and flat on the angles where I lean into corners.

I guess, after 10,674 miles (I just went and looked) it's time.

Brian is at White Stag, and Reno John is too busy working so I don't think I would be heading that way this weekend..but yes, one of these days I want to go exploring in that area.. Pyramid Lake, Gerlach, the Playa....

Depends on what you mean by NorCal. Hwy 36 and all that, nope. But around the Bay Area, I could be convinced to put my daughter on the back of the Wing and go scrape some pegs. We have some nifty roads here in the East Bay I could show you, there's the Santa Cruz mountains, there's Hwy 1 up in Marin, very sweet stuff.

Jerry that sounds tempting! What time would you think you would be starting?

I am not sure if I can make it all the way to the Santa Cruz mountains (Alice right?) and back. I am trying to finish of these PR2's, but they are just slightly above the wear bars in the center...

PM sent..

If you are looking for sympathy about "Winter Returning" don't expect any from me, or any of the rest of us stuck in the frozen north.

But have fun on the ride, our bitchiness is really jealousy.

Awake and will be ready to head out after breakfast. Where am I meeting you Jerry? It takes me maybe 1 hour 45 minutes to get to you? :)
