Alright, I haven't been on a decent ride in a while. And I would like to get one in before the holidays hit and the weather gets bad (for us Arizonans that is).

Right now, weather forecast for Saturday is cool and clear, Sunday it is cold and chance of rain. So Saturday it is!

I would love to do a ride I have been planning for a while - Prescott - Jerome - Sedona - Oak Creek Canyon - Flagstaff and then returning via Lake Mary Road, Strawberry, Pine, and Payson. But that is a long ride. See it HERE.

If nobody's up for that, here's a shorter ride: I have never been on the 'Old US 80' that parallels 85 coming north from Gila Bend. So, how about that and add Vulture Mine Road in there as well too. Lunch in Gila Bend? See it HERE.

So, anybody up for ride on Saturday?

Looks like fun, but I'm not sure I can make either ride. I've got a few things on my to-do list that I'd like to get done instead. One of them is installing the A/C unit in my garage, the other is fabbing up light brackets for my SolTeks.

I fooked up on the date and didn't get it changed until you posted. It's for this weekend, the 13th, not the 20th.

A/C?!?! Dude, it's freezing around here! (For Arizona) Get out and ride!

This weekend is even worse! I've got two Christmas parties to go to on Saturday, and a boat load of misc stuff to get done around the house. Its amazing how much time you loose during the week when you have this thing called a 'job' that consumes so much of your time.

Yeah, its bone chilling cold (for AZ) right now, which is why I'm doing the A/C. I tried installing it during the freaking summer, and that was just ridiculous! Now that it's cooled off I've been able to do alot of the work. Of course now I'm also starting to think a heater in the garage would be nice....

Hola Arte! Just how long exactly has "El Pendejo" been "Sin Trabajo"? When I met SkooterG he was working for HEXCEL and then he left their employ to be a permanent *******. Now he has deteriorated to the point he cannot read a calendar!

NumbNuts Squid: Which is it? Saturday, December 13 or Sunday, December 14? You say its Saturday and say it's the 14th!!

Jesu Cristo, Sr. Montoya: Tu mucho loco amigo es un pinche cabron grande! Que lastima; es muy malo el hombre GregM!

I couldn't have said it better if I tried.....

I think he's pushing 3 years now of gainful slackerness. I have to say I felt sorry for the guy for the first year or so, but after that, I realized he was just doing what he was best at... lots of mooching and surfing the web.

"freezing"

Yeah right
https://weather.msn.com/local.aspx?wealocat...=Chandler%2c+AZ Joe2lmaker: It is absolutely brutal here in Arizona today! When vectervp1 and I left our homes in Chandler for our offices here in Phoenix at 0600 on the FJR's it was a miserable 43 degrees. Going home at 1700 hours it will be a numbing 69 degrees. SkooterG will be OK though! When I called him at 1030 hours today so he can go to fifth grade with my 12 year old son Seth to learn how to read a damn calendar; he was still in his pajamas! I did not want to ask El Pendejo if he was wearing his blue bunny slippers or not. Don S

I'm sitting just shaking my head.

In a few more days, the ice on our frozen lakes will be thick enough to drive on.

vectervp1, Wolfhound, BadCat, BIG-D, Rondo y Joe and Greg in Tucson: What in the hell is that white stuff on the ground in front of that play house? Is that Bonneville Salt Flats North of us in Utah and Joe2lmaker is getting his FJR ready for a run?

SkooterG: You're originally from Wheaton, Illinois. Does that white **** ring a bell with you? Scares the hell out of this Zonie!

Geeze! Everybody's a critic around here! So it's the 13th. I fixed it.

As for that white **** and Wheaton - that was a long time ago. Only see that white **** in my nightmares.

So anybody up for going? Or is it just Jane and I?

GregM: If I could go on Saturday, I would. But son Seth and I have Christmas activities already planned. Can ride Sunday!

Skoot: If a front end Wolfhound is referring to is his old hangy-down, that's unrepairable. If it's forks: Yep, he's good to go!

Wolfhound: If you can talk your fellow Un-Social In-Security Retiree SkooterG into moving the ride to Sunday, you would be welcome to borrow one of my fleet; even my new BMW F650GS Twin. I know you can borrow a bike without crashing it!!
