In my experience it's not the pressure, but the tire itself that makes the difference. As long as you run the recomended pressure, you will probably be fine. I run a little higher than factory suggestion with mine. (as do some on this forum) Not to worry. I just don't think I would run lower pressure.The percentages could change and the wind might push the weather through faster.I don't put much stock in long range forcasts. They may end up being correct, but at this point it's just a WAG on their part. (Wild Ass Guess) We'll see what unfolds when the weekend gets closer. I hope they are wrong.

I do have one question for more experienced wet-weather riders. Do you deflate the tires just a little bit to put more surface on the pavement or just ride 'em at the recommended PSI?
I'll still be there, just might take me longer and change my route.
