Audiovox cruise install.. Atlanta area..Week of Nov 27th

I will most likely be riding to the Atlanta area the week after Thanksgiving. If there are 2 or 3 guys that would want a install service I could bring all the supply needed to do the job's with me. If not to far off route I could set up shop and do a in-home install!!! If anyone would be interested send me a PM or post here. Good to hear you’re passing through this area (middle TN). I have been considering an Audiovox cruise for my bike. Currently I use the Throttlemeister system. However, the potential for increased convenience provided by the Audiovox cruise is very attractive to me. I was thinking maybe late next spring or early next summer I might schedule an appointment with you and come over for an install. But, now that I know you’re heading this way puts things in a different perspective. Before I decide whether or not I want an Audivox cruise I would like to ask you a couple of questions. You could PM me a ph # If you don’t mind a couple of questions. I’ll keep it brief.

In any event, if I know when you’re passing through the area between Nashville and Chattanooga, I might try to catch up to ya just to say hello.

Dave, I will be within a few miles of Atlanta Motor speedway. I have 2 units on hand. It take normally 7 days to get them. If anyone wants a for sure install send me a pm. A $100. deposit would be nice. Thats only because I would have to order more units. If for some reason it didn't work out for you I would send the unit to you. I just don't want to have a boat load of cruise units($$$) on hand. I think this is understandable. Anyone want to do it send me a pm and phone # and I will call you. Thanks Smitty

The two units I have in stock are now spoken and paid for. If anyone else is interested they will need to order a unit for themselves, or send a $100. dollor deposit by Nov. 13, 2006. This will give me enough time to order more in. Thanks David and Tom for your deposits. Smitty

For example, if smitty did 10 installs in the NE (I am from NJ), how much additional would you pay for the install service? I will go out on a limb and say +$50 for each install.

Smitty can take a trip to the NE and do us all a favor.

Smitty: I don't know what you do, etc., so can't speak about lost time/wages, etc.

Think it over and tell us what you think.

Why don't you guys that are interested in Smitty's installation, take a trip to Hooterville....you won't regret it. I bet Smitty would show you some great twisties and a road with 120+m/hr sweepers. Trust me I know :lol: Smitty installed (meticulously) the CC on my feejer and then took me for a ride.

Just checked it on mapquest. It's 1250 miles to Smitty's. I'll need the cruise to get the cruise installed :blink: :dribble: :lol:

Chattanooga Tn.

Atlanta Ga.

On the way home I may head west towards Birmingham Al. to Mississippi then back north. If there is any interest in that area I will go that way home.
