You might want to put a vacuum pump on the servo to ensure there isn't a leak in the diaphram......... just a thought.
The AVCC can use magnets for the signal, but it's certainly not as easy as tapping the coils.The AVCC can use a VSS signal, but the one on the FJR counts too fast, too many pulses per mile.
