All, I am currently installing the audiovox unit on my non-ABS '05 somehow I lost my install manual. Do both the grey wire from the control pad and the fused red/orange wire go to switched 12volts? I have the barrier strip install that Warchild did, can I run both of them to the strip?

Everything else I could pull from fjr1300.info install. These two just have me a little confused.

The grey wire is the optional one, the red/orange is not optional.

So, yes, the red/orange wire should go to switched 12v, and as for the grey wire...

Yes, if you want the control pad to be backlit.

No, if you don't care about backlighting.
