I bought my wife a nuvi 680 for christmas and did a nice neat install in a little cubby hole in her Honda's dash. Although this thing is/was a very nice, simple to use and accurate GPS, it's bluetooth "hands free" phone function stunk. You could hear callers comming in just fine but the other party coud not hear my wife worth a damn. Even after I bought the Garmin microphone that plugs into the unit and set it up near her in an unobtrusive spot on the dash the results were still unacceptable. So back to the store it went.
Does anybody have a unit that performs these two tasks adequately? Does anybody else have experience with a 680? Maybe I just got a bad one.
