Back-off/ led light

I'll try to explain what's happening in hopes some of you can help me. On my '05 I have the Back-Off box along with the typical led light bar that can me mounted on license plate or rear rack. This is my situation: about every 5 seconds the leds dimly blink 4 times. The led bar was mounted on the aftermarket rear rack and I moved it to the license plate bracket. Possibly I crossed a wire(s). Everything else works as it should, I just have blinks. If any of you have this set-up please reply as how yours is wired or have any of you seen this problem before? BTW it is an abs model--factor? Thanks in advance for the help.

As a follow up, the only wire I see not connected is the white wire from the led bar. My led bar has 3 wires--black,red, and the white. Presently I have the red to red and the black grounded. How is you riders led wired?

Don't have the LED unit in front of me now but if memory serves one wire is the hot for a dimmer "running" light, the second is for the hot for a brighter function (read "brake" light), & the third wire is for the ground. Hope this helps.
