BarEnders Helmet Lock Group Buy is over

The way the helmet hangs when these are used means that they will act like a bucket in any rain situation, correct?

I guess you could double bill them as environmentally friendly rain collection devices if you hung your helmet there in the rain. In event of rain I would either take my lid with, or stuff it in one of the side bags. Whichever was more appropriate.

Draggon: Galaxy hit it on the head. A Single (BE-6A) would give you one lock end, for one side only. The Single with Dummy (BE-6B) would be a Lock End and a Blank End (Dummy) so both sides match. The Dual or (BE-6C) would be 2 lock ends with matching key.

Not really sure why they sell just the lock end... unless it's for the people who ordered the dummy and then later changed their minds.

I was thinking of just ordering 1 for the left side and sooner or later get the throttlemeister for the right. Waiting on payday to decide.

Ditto. Just got home and they were on the front porch. 3 minutes later they were on the bike. I am tremendously pleased with the quality.

FYI.. I received a message from BarEnder this afternoon that all orders to date have been shipped. One name on the list has not ordered yet. I will send a PM to let the individual know that the BarEnder folks will be away from the shop until Thursday. Any order placed this weekend will go out immediately. Any order plance next week will not be able to ship until Friday, April 24th at the earliest.

A few more slots are available.....once we hit 15 or the end of April the discount disappears.

Mine came yesterday and were surprisingly easy to install. Thanks for the work on the group buy. I had a pair of helmets hanging off the bike this evening and it is a pretty sweet setup. Now if my battery would get here I would be good to go....

Just make sure they ship USPS. Fed Ex/UPS you'll pay at least $40 in 'customs/brokerage/sodomy' fees.

Mine arrived from a different source as I was not in the group buy. I plan to do the AE G2 tube and the BarEnders at the same time so will know if they all work well together. I have been procratinating the G2 tube trying to decide how to handle all the issues (removal of grip: compressed air, screwdriver and WD-40, meat skewers and soap, etc.; reinstall of grip: nothing, hairspray, contact cement, soap, etc.). All of the banter over the years of the best way to change the throttle tube has me confused to the state of procrastination.

Bet bet would be to contact BarEnder direct to ask, but previous conversations with them when setting up the buy indicatd that all sales outside of the continental US would be via the folks at aerostich. Unfortunately the group buy discount would not apply to those sales
