Battery replacement

My 2014ES was purchased in Dec 2013 and the original battery went strong until June 2022. When I had the valves checked at 65,000 miles the dealer showed me the readout indicated the battery was near its life’s end. This is my third FJR and the first time I replaced a battery. Went with a Yuasa.

OEM batttery since March 2015 on my FJR - still works like a charm. During winter break time to time on trickle charger, that's it.

The battery area is so tight. A pain. To change. Anyone have a recommendation for a battery with a smaller physical size for easier replacement?

Shorai is small. You have to pad them out with the included adhesive foam.
