Going to attempt a BBG from Visalia to just east of Wendover tomorrow. My newly acquired riding partner Greg, whom I met at TLAE (thanks again Doug and Brian), is going to ride with me. As a matter of fact he should be arriving at my house soon. I will show him downtown Visalia and all it has to offer - there really isn't much, but if anybody ever wants to visit they are more than welcome! ted

Another one? You ARE a glutton for punishment, arent' you? Lordy, lordy, which bike will it be this time?

Best of luck to you both!

Thanks Skooter! The C14 tomorrow. Then up early Sunday for a little ride to Laguna Seca to attend Moto GP!

Just east of Wendover? Where's that? Bonneville I guess. Or Tooele. Not much in between.

Have fun, keep the shiny side up.

YEAH, shit man, you got that right! We just needed about 5 more miles or so......ended up in Delle, UT. Just a 130 mile or so detour! But all is well.

And, yes, a little detour to Delle. No gas stop between Bonneville and Delle. Just about 130 miles round trip out of our way. Hey, they have excellent pizza at the Delle gas station. Buy one and get another for free!

I was there too!

By George they do have gas at Bonneville Speedway. I just didn't see it pulling out of Wendover heading east on I-80!

We finished at 0315 the next day. Did 1,648 miles in just over 23 hours. Really no drama on this ride. A fair amount of miles were logged on slow going California roads such as hwy 99, hwy 58, and the 395. Going to attempt a BBG 1,800+ just as soon as I can find a little time. Which won't be too long.

The C14 performed flawlessly...sorry, Greg. I'm sure you'll switch sides soon enough!

Don't hold your breath!

Glad you finally had a relatively drama-free ride. Why you didn't use that bike IN THE FIRST PLACE will be the question for the ages!
