Sorry guys, didnt know where to post this.

What a breath of fresh air.

I put a post up asking if anyone knew where I might get some loud horns in the UK. Beeroux offered to pick some up and send them from the States to me in the UK. As no-one came back with a UK supplier I took him up on the offer. I must admit I was sceptical.

Without asking for payment up front he took the trouble to go out and buy some, box them up and post them to me, trusting me completely to send payment, which of course I did. They arrived today.

In the days that we now live, where everyone seems to be out to make a quick buck out of you, where every email is trying to sell you junk, or to scam some money from you, what a breath of fresh air the whole thing was.

Many thanks to Beeroux (George) for trusting me.

Thanks also to FJRandy for the harness, not arrived yet but I am sure it will.

Good job there Beeroux! Thumbs up to good guys.

I must say that some strangers on this board have gone out of their way to help me. They are no longer strangers to me...but friends.

Whole bunch of good guys and gals like that here, I've bought from three different members here and never had a problem...ah, well I did screw up with zzip but that was due to a brain fart :dribble: and he didn't even mention my new moniker to anyone here :)

:jester:

Reagular posters here can pretty much be trusted. Hope you bought George a beer.

On another forum there is something in NZ not available here. He is anxious to ship & I want to make sure my money is there first. TJ :dribble:

I bought my pre-owned FJR from a guy in Colorado. He bought my FZ-1 from me in NH. Neither of us has met the other or seen the bikes but in pictures and description. Money exchanged, bikes shipped. The whole process was a pleasure.

That is a little too trusting, too much money involved for me.

But really, really nice to know that this sort of thing can happen in this day and age. Well done both.

Thanks for the kind words Graham.

I never thought for a second you'd stiff me in any way.

It's just how we roll brothers and sisters.

GZ

Kinda hard to stiff a guy.....now, if it were a girl....that would warrant pics.
