What is the best place you have found on OEM plastic? Ron Ayers seems to be the best I have found.

Walmart.

Save money, live better...

Seriously, a blue 07?

There was your opportunity to show us how smart you are on two questions and you blew them both. Thanks for the help.
And it was your opportunity to show us how well your reading comprehension is....and you blew it miserably. You're getting the amount of help you deserve. Please don't confuse this place with a search welfare entitlement zone. ;)

Why do you guys even open a thread if you have no interest or are bored with the topic ???
Is it just to insult someone for a typo?

Helpful others gave me the name of someone that repairs the side bags as an option to $500 to buy one.
Still didn't bother reading the links did 'ya?

Had you opened the links Ignacio provided you would have been directed to the FAQ section (You know, one of the sections new member are suggested to read?) where you would have found this thread. There you would have seen a list of Electronic Parts Sources for the FJR (websites, etc.) and you could have done some comparison "shopping".

Personally, I have had great success with Gary McCOy @ Mondak Motorpsorts. Normally, I go to https://www.yamaha-motor.com/, "click" my way through motorcycles to get to the online parts manual and make a list and email it to Gary. He'll send me back my list with the prices and I call him with my credit card number (actually, he has the number on file now and waits for my "okay"). I keep a number of extra fasteners, filters, etc., "in stock" in my garage. One never knows when a NorCal rider needs a fairing fastener on short notice.

When you say "plastic" on the forum, we interpret that to mean fairings, nose piece, etc. had you been specific about a side case most of us would have suggested having it repainted. I had my right side case repainted at an automotive body shop. They were able to match the color and it cost me around $300, cheaper than a replacement case and no freight.

Note: If you can't take the ribbing that goes on to ALL members here, this could be a painful experience for you. Sorry, but that's the way it's been on every FJR website since the heady days when I started in '03. God help you when a true "dogpile" is given in your honor!

Just for grins, some interesting links for your reading pleasure:
