+1There goes another almost hour of my life. I meant to just jump through it in a few minutes, but damn, it was too compelling.
For the impatient, the "misery" part, or at least the nastiest part of the misery, started about 33:45 in. Myself, I'd have turned back at about the 4 minute mark. Dem guyz is nutso!
Back in the day Pops Niehart and Papa Chuy used to do that, at least in our dreams we did it! JSNS, Senile!+1There goes another almost hour of my life. I meant to just jump through it in a few minutes, but damn, it was too compelling.

Pops Niehart, we are NOT inviting HotRodZilla or SacramentoMike or Bokerfork to our next off road expedition in Peru! JSNS, *******!I just don't get what's "fun" about that. Scared shitless half the day and pushing the bike as much as riding it only pisses me off. There's way better trails to ride than on the edge of a cliff jumping down rocks and the penalty for a mistake being death, or the loss of an $8000 + dollar piece of equipment.
I thought the video was going to highlight the Baja 1000, and instead, all we got was a glorified ride report which peaked when his buddy threw his bike off a cliff. They could have done that anywhere.
Exactly this! Kudos forbthem, i wouldn't have the stones, and i know i don't have the experience. Skills i have, practice i lack so the skills lean heavily towards theory, sadly. Thanks Don. Makes me want to ride and sell the bikes all at the same time.
