Like many old farts "boomers" I have trouble seeing fine detail up close. Things like gauges, song data on the radio, street names on gps...On a ride last weekend this was driving me nuts. Glasses hurt my ears and fogged up. Anyway I heard about optx 20/20 stick on lenses. https://optx2020.com/hydrotac.aspx
These are a soft plastic lens used to add bi-focal correction to sunglasses. They are held on by wetting and sticking on then squeezing the water out.
The pair I ordered arrived tonight!
I currently have these between the layers on a pinlock lens. Initial impressions are quite promising! It is a bit of a challenge getting them in the correct position at the distance involved. I shot optx an email asking about getting a 1 piece (strip) and even asked pinlock if they might consider adding a corrective strip to the bottom of their lenses. They (pinlock) did reply saying they would pass it on to whoever...
I'll update here if I get any good news from optx or pinlock.
