Life of Riley yep, yep used to watch that too although not a toon was still pretty funny. Along with 'Father knows Best'.I thought Betty was hot.

My favorite toons were Peabody and Sherman,Popeye, Supercar(wanted one !), & Clutch Cargo. Todays toons suck by comparison although I'll still watch them with the grandkids.

Banana Splits is not a cartoon!!!! I said so when it came out, and it's still true today!!

Roadrunner (any Looney Tunes, actually, especially before they were "sterilized" of impacts and "violence") Tom and Jerry, Mighty Mouse, Underdog, Space Ghost.

Jeebus, I remember every one of them, word for word. No wonder I didn't do well in school.

They were on ever evening after the news, what they filled in before prime time before there were reruns.

Thanks, Ty :yahoo:

Man...There's a couple of those posted that I don't know, but most of them I do. I remember getting up Saturday mornings just to watch the Bugs Bunny & Roadrunner show. That was when cartoon characters showed up to work with guns. Haha...

My eight year old loves Tom and Jerry. She has 4 or 5 DVDs of it at her request. She still has no idea who Bugs Bunny is though. Now it's stupid assed Sponge Bob.

+1, Gunny! Betty was hot! I would have done her! Hell's Bell's, I still would do her!!! Do her twice and take her to brunch!

Postscript: Very sadly, while finding Jane Wyatt's photograph, I discovered she had passed away. Great actress and three time Emmy winner. RIP Jane, I still love you!

While these were made before my childhood, these are the first I remember watching. "Farmer Gray"
