Pretty much been covered. Two days, see the sights, and travel during the day.

I've been in rain, fog, and packs of Harleys. I've seen more deer on the BRP than anywhere in the country.

At Meadows of the Dan (near Willsville MC Campground) there must of been a hundred, I wanted automatic rifle fire.

We followed an SUV at 20mph to block for us.

Smokey the Bear has asked me to leave before, but never got a ticket. Pricey Federal ticket, but I think no points.

I did the BRP in one solid day on my Road Star Warrior last June. I started at a leisurely 8am and made Cherokee just after dark at 10pm. Weather was perfect. This time of year sunset is much earlier and you'll need two days. The following day I got up and rode to Robbinsville in the rain, the weather cleared, I rode the dragon twice, then hauled it back east to Middlesex County. About 1300 miles in 30 hours. It was less of a sight-seeing trip than a just-to-say-I-did trip, and I would do it differently next time.

Did the BRP a few weeks ago. Pretty much held it at 65 mph except for some of the tighter corners, went faster. Got lucky no cops except for one on a Ducati they spent some time with us, was prepared with my dumb Canadian kilometer screw-up excuse. But still with the view, the stops along the way to enjoy the view, we split it into a day and 1/2. Went from Cherokee to Smoke Hole WV in the full two days, including a few hours at the snake.

Did the BRP and skyline last year. Wouldn't bother with the Skyline again. Too slow, too much traffic and very heavily patrolled.

First time coming across a Mountain Goat, we don't have them here. At least I thought it was a Mountain Goat.
