One more stupid ? from an FNG...I've noticed my right side mirror gets blurry where the left one stays pretty clear. I've tightened up the nut holding it outside the fairing; no love. Do I need to start removing plastic to tighten a bracket underneath it all, or is this a normal thing on an 06.

I have an '07 and my left mirror is definately better than my right. Neither of them is loose. Maybe just the way they mount because the little convex blind-spot mirrors I use are both clear.

Rotate the mirror (the glass bit) until it hits the housing. That will quell a lot of the vibrations. My right mirror is spun clockwise as far as it can go, left is counter clockwise to be semetrical.

Have you tried a monocle in your right eye?

Hee Hee welcome to the board!

You know I thought my bike had a problem with the right mirror, guess it's not just my bike. I think when I drive just a dozen or so miles above the speed limit, i'm more concerned with whats in front, thats usually where the coppers are waiting.

I have to check once in a while just to make sure the unmarked car isn't trying to stop and share political views.

I used to think the same way until I was in a couple of high-speed chases and didn't notice...

Now I try to check my mirrors more often.

Hey, I tried that out this morning on the commute and it helped a lot! It's still not as clear as the left one, but it doesn't look like a Picaso painting anymore. Thanks for the tip!

Start using your left hand!! :)

Odd eh?
Same thing here, fuzzy right and clear left. I will try the rotation thing
Check the nut on the inside of the fairing. The are notorious for being loose or missing one from the factory.
Oh well, now ya tell us!
