UH, when I got my Pazzo levers I thought I was wasting money on "bling." Then I put them on. Totally different feel and pattern from OEM, and I love them. They are very comfortable. What's funny is that just about everyone who has ridden my bike comments on the levers. They're that good.

I noticed those Pazzos when you first pulled up at the house and I never got around to asking about them. Pop and I looked them over pretty good. I have those on my list of important things to buy for the FJR. Of course most of that budget was spent on repairing my stupidity instead of improving the bike.

I have the "real" Pazzo levers. They are pretty pricey but nice. The Chinese knockoffs on fleabay are supposed to be reasonably good and a lot cheaper. Color coating isn't as durable. After 6 years, the Pazzos still look new.

Honestly - Pazzo's may have made a name for themselves, but really..... $200 ?!??!

I know alot of people in machine shops and we have discussed how fat that company is getting with the prices of those levers.... its aluminum...

At least ASV's are closer to being somewhat reasonably priced....

Fit and finish on the pazzos are worth the entry price IMO, those replicas look great and if that price difference will break you go cheap. The angle and precise fit is noticed everytime they are used or oggled.

There is nothing wrong with making good money on a quality product.

I got a BITCHIN' deal on my Pazzos. May not get it next time, but they will be one of the first things I add to any new bike.

Make sure you remove them before the bike's replaced 'zilla!

Although I have the knock-offs, I picked up a set of used Pazzos here. They currently are pulling duty on the Tenere but you can bet they'll be removed when the time comes.

Got my Pazzos in 08 for the 08. Pulled them off before trading in for the 14, inspected closely, and could not find a flaw or wear of ANY kind. Even after 6 years and 36,000 miles they held up and are as good as new. It is hard to describe how much more comfortable, if that is the word, they are than the stockers.

Kaehr Plating here in Albuquerque: https://www.kaehr.com
They have done military and industrial spec plating for years. They did business with my dad's machine shop for probably 40 years. Anything I need plated or powder coated goes to them. Even if I didn't live here, I'd ship my stuff to them.
Plating and anodizing are qutie a bit different. One of the anodizers I tried bragged that they handled a great deal of Boeing orders. We sent them about 10 samples of machined alunminum to be anodized black, they actually returned some of the parts and said they just couldn't figure out how to get it to work (the parts came back bleachy looking). They also dropped one of the larger parts we sent and put a big dent in it, then blamed us for it.

Oddly enough, the only place that did a good job is also in the Southwest.

OMG...I know the difference. They anodize too. Their work is amazing. Mostly because the current owner is the son of the original owner and his name is on the building.
