How about this, I just got off the phone with Kisan again, they are going to ship me a set of thier new 1157 style bulbs, these are a redesign which address the issues with ABS :yahoo: They are not listed yet in the online catalog but will be shortly...I will report back after giving them a trial period, fingers crossed B)

The farkling Kisan tailBlazer brake lamps for my 06A showed up last week after ordering them in July, long time coming but seem to be worth the wait. The halogen bulbs burn much brighter than stock and all that flashing really grabs the eye, exactly what I wanted. So far the ABS seems to be operating normally, no problems as reported with the original lamps when used with ABS,... they stay in synch too, pretty farkling cool product.

just my .02

I have added the GIVI top trunk with brake light kit, and that is almost worthless.
I agree, and that's why I am making a new kit that is many times brighter than the Givi light kit. (See photos above).
Hey what about those annoying spinning lights sold on ebay?? One of my neighbors has one and I notice the bike every night.

I am also thinking of adding the black reflective tape to the bags to get noticed.

Ditto. Got the new style synced pair of drop-in tailBlazers for the ABS FJRs and they work like a champ.

Followed BMWHD's advice and picked up the Kisans. Really work great and I am very pleased. I will see if they holdup under the long term test.

Two of my riding buddies have commented on the relative dimness of my bulb :dribble: :dribble: I told them to fark off but they insist it is a real problem. During daylight they claim the difference between the running lamp and brake light is not very great making it difficult to tell when I apply the brakes. This is on a 06 BTW. So, any replacement bulbs that I could use which would burn brighter when the brake is applied? Other solutions? What about these gizmos that make the brake light flash, any good?

The 1157 is the standard for cars, and they're plenty bright, so I'm wondering if there's a problem getting sufficient power to the brake-light filaments to adequately light the bulb.

I put a set of em in my 02 LT and @36K miles when I got an 04 I stuck them in it. That was 78K ago.

I am pleased they have 119K and are working fine. I guess I'll do the same for the FJR.
