I am going to try to talk the wife into going. It would be great to see everyone! Maybe will drive the metal box (don't want the wifey all miserable). And for those that know me, I have about $30 of small hardware till my windshield is finally on!!

Carl

Hey everyone, the wife and I will be there and if I can get my daughter for the weekend, she would love to come. She is 9 and no matter how cold or wet it is, when ever she is over she says "lets go for a ride" . She is a trooper! All that know me, know that I still ride in any weather and still don't have a windshield on yet. Yep, cold! lol

Carl

I'm gonna have to put myself on the "maybe" list.

Yeah, I wanna meet all you folks, but I also need to be in Vancouver sometime on Saturday. Gonna have to figure out how to work this.

Regardless, that puts me at the show on Friday nite.

I just saw on the news that a COLD FRONT is coming in on Friday evening and there is slight chance the rain will turn to snow on Saturday, but what are the chances it snows at the show 2 yrs in a row. anyway I look forward to this weekend.

Marcus

I'm coming in a Van with 13 others and they want to stop for breakfast at Spiffy's on Hwy 12. Won't get there until after 9:30 or so, so I won't see you at breakfast but maybe at the show.

Just saying ...

Friday Night

Rain and snow likely. Lows in the lower 30s.

Saturday

Cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs in the upper 30s.

"36° F | 29° F Chance of Snow 50% chance of precipitation"

Will update as we get closer.

I live at 1100' elevation. Last year I left at 1300 and it was just starting to snow in Seattle. By the time I got home it was close to 3" of stuff on the ground. Wasn't too bad on the roads though. This year with a pax, I'm thinking the truck may get the nod if this forcast holds up

On the Bright side, I'm headed down to GP Suspensions on Thursday for a whole new suspension system. Does that help in inclement weather?

I'd like to ride the bike into town, so I doubt I'll make the breakfast. I'll probably leave a bit later after it "warms" up a bit.

Last year, I was all the way into Bothell when the snow blizzard hit. I had to turn around. Just barely made it home.

Regardless of the weather, I'm gonna be on my way to Vancouver while you folks are chowing down. Sorry I'm gonna miss this one, but the SCCA is letting me off the leash on Wednesday and I wanna go HOME for the first time since September 29th.

Anyway, enjoy yourselves and enjoy the show.

I don't know what the layout of the show is like, (haven't been there before) but I was wandering that sense there will be people arriving a little later and not able to make it to breakfast and that would still like to meet other forum members if it might not be too bad to meet up around the Yamaha booth at like noon. And for some reason, if they Yamaha separates their booths by dirt and street, that we meet near the street booth where we might see the new FJRs or the sport bikes. I don't know if this is wanted by others or even feasible due to layout space of the show, but I know that I have really gotten to like those of you that I have met and would like to meet many more.

Let me know what you think.

Carl

I'm still good to go. Snow...three years in a row :angry2: hell with it. I'm puttin' chains on the FJR and see how she does in the slippery stuff.

*Sigh* Looks like a cage weekend. I live at 700' and with the snow level predicted to be at 300', it doesn't look like riding weather.

See everyone at breakfast. I hear rumor that Niehart *might* have a few surprises in store.

It's gonna have to be white and fluffy around here for me not to ride. It's just Bothell to Pioneer Square. I work in that neck of the woods, so I do it every day anyway. The PNWRiders crew have a meet at the Kawasaki stand at noon on Sat. Prolly OK for the more mature set to meet at the Yamaha stand at the same time.
