:yahoo: Great news! I saw my brother-in-law, Bruce on Easter. He is off the crutches but still is wearing one of those "very fashionable black boots" and is using a cane. If all goes well he will be able to shed the boot in about 3 weeks. We are all hopeful that he is now on his way to a full recovery. He still has a lot of rehab ahead of him but his attitude is good.
I told Bruce that I would carve him a cane (my other hobby is woodcarving) and it will have his favorite game on it. He is a big hunter and fisherman. I also told him that I fully expect him to use it for just a little while and then hang it up on his wall with all his other trophies.
