Here is my first look at the Hondapotamus, Doug's new Fat Lady. We went for a quick ride today.

It's oddly weird to see something that big going just that fast on a tightly-curved road.

Cheers from the opposed-twin side of things . . .

Not a good idea that I let the Mrs. view this video without pre-screening it. She took one look at that Barcalounger on the back and was going "OOOhhh....Ahhhhh" Now the only issue will be how we'd pick the damn thing up if it ends up on it's side. Nice looking scoot there Dougy.

Just don't drop it!

There's a video I'm happy to see.

Good looking ride ya got there Doug.
Thanks Karl, it's good to be back in the saddle again no matter how big it is.

That thing is F***ing ugly. Just like it's owner.

:jester:
Actually SkootyG to be perfectly honest with you, I think that bike is just marginally uglier than it's owner!

That's a pretty bike. Too bad the owner is such a fruitcake.
Fixed.
I can be down to Arizona in a flash on the Hippo so watch yer step boys!

Don't let them F@#k with you Doug. they are just jealous. I'm going to get Richard to adopt me so I can have his cause I can't afford one without selling my toys.

There is a nice one with the suspension already done in Socal If somebody would like to buy it for me. TIA :yahoo:

Nice bike Doug. I had to go out to the garage and make sure mine was still there.

Only thing , watch out for curbs when you make a right hand turn.

Good Luck with her, you will love it no matter what the odd Arizona boys say.

It may be a geezer convention around here already.

I bet Dougiebear could outride most of the geezers on this forum with his new boat. In fact he might show some of the young'uns what for as well.

Can see why Doug's better half likes it... back seat looks just like my leather lazy-boy recliner! I seriously could fall asleep back there it looks so comfy

That hondapodamus should knock a forest rat into the next county!

The options include either...

a Handlebar mounted:

  • sippy cup,
  • Country and Western jukebox

...or a fairing mounted: Chainsaw off the front end.

I'd go with the Chainsaw there Dougie.

The only G/W I ever had the privilege to drive (alone) had a sub-woofer mounted under the seat, it lifted my *** off the seat better than any garbage-plate bean fart ever thought of.

I guess our farkles are petty minuscule compared to the GW's.

Thanks Mark, I was bonding with the peg feelers in the Yuba River Canyon. Time to up the on board pre load adjustment

A sub woofer? That could be fun and everything on a FJR is smaller :p
