Here is my first look at the Hondapotamus, Doug's new Fat Lady. We went for a quick ride today.

It's oddly weird to see something that big going just that fast on a tightly-curved road.

Never thought I'd see it come to pass, but here it is. Doug is a "gold winger".

...and I recently decided NOT to sell my '05 which was giving me lots of neck, hip, and leg aggravation. Decided to schedule neck surgery on C4,5,& 6 instead of letting go of the bike. I just need to find a 1.5 lb. helmet. I may yet make it to 100K miles on the '05. :yahoo:

Not a good idea that I let the Mrs. view this video without pre-screening it. She took one look at that Barcalounger on the back and was going "OOOhhh....Ahhhhh" Now the only issue will be how we'd pick the damn thing up if it ends up on it's side. Nice looking scoot there Dougy.

A Wing has a low center of gravity and is relatively easy to pick up... <_< BTW, nice bike...

Thanks to the forum I named my Hondapotamas "Hippo" for short.

Here's the display at start up and shut down.

That's Crumb on the dash. He is from a great cartoon show in the 90's called "Real Monsters", my kids watched when they were little.

He is the official mascot for the Hippo who will reside on the back rack. Someday I may grow up.
