Bulb, or something else?

Anyone replaced one of thesse bad boys yet?

I just noticed that the bulb doesn't light on

my indicator, but the turn signal works, as

does everything else: L/R turn signals, horn,

high-low beam headlights, windshield retract,

hazard lights, everything. (The bulb under the

green plastic above the speedo and all that stuff

is what I'm referring to).

Is taking the front cowling off a pitb, or

is it relatively simple? Is there anything

else I need to know?

I had to replace one of the lights (backlighting) for the meter display itself. The meter assy has to come out and be opened up to get at the bulbs.

Can you give me the sequence you used when you took the bike apart

and if you had any annoying or exasperating issues?

(It's exasperating enough to me just to have to do this in the first place.)
