pilot error

you know what that is, 1st hand...right?

I miss the Kentucky Kid, he was CUTE!

You meet the nicest fastest people on a Honda it seems.

Valentino is getting old. This year his shoulder is cranky. Old man is falling apart...

I could see you on one of those machines Old Mikey. You'd show those wannabe's.

Stoner is an animal. He was maybe the only rider that could deal with the Duck the last few years. On the sorted out Honda, I think he'll be really tough to beat. They seem to have a monster motor developed.

I wonder how long it takes before Puig cranks up the whining to Honda that his boy Danny is not getting the same stuff as Casey. It's to hard to tell yet who will be the "man" this year. After the next test we should have a better idea.

Can't wait for the real racing to start :dribble:

I refer you to my own photo of Spies from "back in the day," the AMA Weekend at Barber, April 2008: Nice to see he hasn't forgotten how to tip a bike over.

Ya know, I was looking at those pics again this evening, showing them to a friend at work, when I realized . . . .

I don't think I'll ever ever ever know the feeling of having my kneecap be the highest point of the man/machine unit during a turn! That puts "hanging off" into proper perspective, doesn't it?

I really wish it didn't cost me $20-30/month to add SpeedHD to my channel lineup (I'd have to bump up a package or two to get it, and I couldn't care less about the other channels I'd get)

Wonder if MotoGP wasn't so completely unavailable for free here,(even previous years), if it might reach a much wider audience and be good for the series, and eventually be even more lucrative. You'd think some of the advertisers would be pushing that.

(But, I've no idea how it all works.)

quality motorsports will never come to North America in any real way, at least I hope not

we'd fast food, french fry, NASCAR it to death and ruin it all together

Here is a picture of my baby boy at Fontana a while back.... He called his old mother and father very excited. I thought maybe he got an A on a grad paper or got a raise at his job, but his excitement stemmed from the fact that he had worn a hole in his leathers from dragging his elbow on the track...

+1, Gunny! Nice track picture of your REAL Son Rich! Don't you wish we both could say the same good things about our illegitimate ******* Sons, Old Michael and SkooterG. Your OM loves sailing his FJR off of cliffs and my GregM loves bouncing his FJR down the roadway! What can we do? We sent them both to school, and they burnt the damned books and ate their Teacher!
