Well the rainy crap has finally moved East. Forecast for the weekend is dry and pleasant. Overnight lows in the upper 30s and highs around 60 with plenty of sunshine. Good camping weather

The bike is packed. I get home from work tomorrow at 1 pm. By 1:15, I should be grabbing gears

Stay thirsty, my friends

Haven't seen the sun since January 6th..... It hasn't rained that whole time, just dreary overcast, but today it rained. Thanks loads for sending it. ***....

Fog into work this morning, and rain and 50's back home. Should be good weather in the South this weekend, so enjoy your trip Pants!

What is this "sun" thing you speak of?

Actually, it was nice in Denver today and should be sunny and upper 50's throughout the weekend. Unfortunately the roads are still covered with salt/sand/mag-chlor and I don't think I will chance it just yet. No doubt there is lots of cabin fever around here and others will be out tomorrow and this weekend.

Roads in my area still salt and cinder covered from the last deposits of white death Mother Nature dropped on us.....

Enjoy your ride.

You don't know cabin fever!! I parked the bike in early December and there is little likelihood that it will hit the road before mid-March. Even with a warm day (>35 °F), the salty road sludge makes riding difficult, dangerous and hard on the bike.

I love motorcycle camping but admit to being a ***** when it comes to conditions. I need overnight temperatures in the mid-40's or warmer and don't bother if there is much more than light precipitation. This is a function of my camping gear as much as personal tolerance. Won't see these conditions until mid-May or so.

Enjoy!

Cabin fever is really raging when my den floor is covered with new farkles that I want to install on my new FJR - and the temps are stuck in the 20's. **** are we ever gonna see 30's again?

Looks like tomorrow should be pretty nice. Sunny with a high of 43.

I rode all week in a monsoon. Even when it was supposed to let up, it didn't. Then yesterday and today we had wet and 32 degree temps, which sent me to four wheels.

Ross - you write the truth. I have NO idea how you snow birds deal with that weather for so long.

Me thinks I will bring my camera....

Bill,

You made me feel guilty for not riding all week so I decided to ride this morning based on the weather reports about being sunny today. Had no idea the roads would be so slick this morning at 6:00. The trip from Loganville to Norcross was interesting to say the least. Will enjoy the ride home though......

Must have been chilly last night. Scar's temp readout was 33F this morning on my ride home from work. I was thinking about you and your tent. My Harley riding coworkers and I were discussing it and looking at camping gear on the 'net. I was happy to crawl into my nice warm bed this morning.

Of course I am a bit jealous. I will be thinking about this on my ride in to work tonight.

Arrived home a couple hours ago safe and refreshed. Good trip - adventurous as usual. About 925 miles total over 3.5 days. Ride report forthcoming, of course.

Cabin fever is GONE.

Stay thirsty, my friends.
