Yep, it's true... almost 2000 miles these past 3 days, roaming all over northern California to verify several dozen bonus locations. And I took a grunch of photos along the way.

I saved these 4 shots because I knew that Jerry Smith, Brian Roberts and a bunch of other forum members are attending the Cal 24 next month, and are probably keen to see these photos.....

I can't be 100% positive, but I think we may have been on those very same roads in previous Cal24 rallies. Of course it was the middle of the freakin' night and we were surrounded by an angry hoard of forest-rats so I may be mistaken.

How did all your new farkles work out for you?

- Raising the mount height of the aux cell 1.0" proved to be the fix for transferring all the fuel. Pretty happy about that, since it means not having to **** around with a electrical fuel pump. The cell transfers 4.55 gallons of fuel in a consistent, repeatable manner, so I'm happy there.

- The Pro-Oiler is a godsend, particularly since the Gen II Busa's no longer have a centerstand option. I need to throttle the Pro-Oiler down just a pinch; it is a touch heavy on the flow at the moment.

- I need to turn my attention to the Valentine One install. Found myself cruising along at 85mph several times this past weekend when I wasn't intending to go quite that fast. Need to get the V1 up and running ASAP before Something Bad happens....

I'm glad I'll soon be able to HEAR my V-1 instead of just relying on it's visual (installing a Starcom1). It's just too hard to see the display unless it's directly in my line of sight and I'm looking at it. And with glare or direct sunlight it still might not be visible. It does work great at night, though.

Well, photos 1, 3 & 4 are in taken in the same location. And if I had to ponder where those were shot, I'd say it was on Rte...

Total Cake walk as usual. All you need is two handfuls of pics of a Busa and you're IN. Pretty pics WC. Naturally the real bonus is on the opposite side of where you were aiming your camera. ;)
