Wow I almost screwed up my first rally before it even got started. Aftere looking I relized I had not ever mailed the check to TOM. I e-mailed him and he said he had a couple of openings left but almost full so in the mail it went. I received my rally pak today so I guess Im in.

"Robertsville MO." thats some distance for a one day rally, well at least it would be for me.

This damn rally is what got me hooked into LDR, be prepared for some serious 24hr fun!

I have to be in Phoenix AZ. the week before the rally and my brother lives in Redwood city so I thought I would take full advantage of being out west.

Well, well..... I just rolled up from a 3 day, 2100-mile recon mission in northern California, southern Oregon and northwestern Nevada, plotting some heinous bonus locations for Mr. Tom Melchild and his Cal24 crew.

Here's a shot I took while park near one of the locations.... youse guys running the Cal 24 this year are in for a treat!

This just happens to be a Forest Road that is immediately off of (and runs parallel to) the paved road I was on at the time....

No worries; if Mr Melchild says you'll be on paved roads only throughout the event... then that is where you will be.

You'll probably want to bring a bottle of good bug cleaner with you to keep your headlight/aux lights bug free.... :blink:

So ya finally bit eh! Took a little jaunt around CA seeking out Missions to get the juices flowing for ya did it? :clapping:

Any word on Bob? His mild mannered riding style will suit this rally for sure.
