So ya finally bit eh! Took a little jaunt around CA seeking out Missions to get the juices flowing for ya did it?
Ian this is all your fault.

turbodave_98 Posted Yesterday, 09:04 AM Steve, it will be good to see and do some riding together again. You are a good luck charm for me(door prize at WFO4 while next to you). See you on 9 June.
Dave, sorry we missed you the other day, will be looking foward to seeing you on the 9th

Any word on Bob? His mild mannered riding style will suit this rally for sure. ;)
No rallies this season. Waitin' for the PHID's. Also need GPS. How's that for a weak-ass excuse?

For a weak-ass excuse? Outstanding! Sheeee-ut! You need to be like your hero (me) and run a bunch of rallies before you get the fancy-schmancy gadgets to figure out WTF you're doing anyways.

Pretty pathetic there my friend. I can see Eve's disappointmet already. Better shape up or she may go looking for a true long distance riding type of guy. Not a girly man like you. ;)

:p

I will also be involved in the CAL 24 in some manner. Probably manning one of the more difficult CP's or bonus points. Tom mentioned something about 12 feet of rope and a box of cats - not sure what he ment by that???

I have it on good authority that the Dunnigan Drill team - a select group of nubile your norCalians will be gaceing the rally with a personal appearance - along with the world famous Bruno's Swedish Towel Girls of Gerlach [Gretchen is MINE]

Too bad you guys riding the rally will be too worn out to appreciate any of this.

Young, inexperienced and stupid - is no substitute for

age and guile - [we'll leave the stupid part as it might fit]

Ride hard me laddies and lassies - Not sure if Herran had anything to do with this year's route - if so.....

you are in for it (and a lot of fun to boot)
