Thought I'd share this pix of a Harley I saw at the Learning Center today..

Check out the extended fish tails.. the ape hangers..
The rider was wearing colors of some type..Did not recognize the club.

Ironically, the day earlier had made contact with a Harley rider named Duff.
IBA rider, and a RIDER.

What a freakin' difference among the Harley tribe.

This bike was louder than **** and obnoxious as only a loud Harley can be.

And I own a Harley - so I can speak.

I saw a harley rider once with ape hangers so high he looked like Divinci's spread eagle man rolling down the highway.

Looks uncomfortable as hell to me.

I believe that Ape Hangers are to the Harley crowd what The Little Black Dress is to women. It is a bold and daring fashion statement that must be accessorized properly. It is often used in conjunction with the Black Leather Vest. If the vest has enough embroidery on the back, no shirt is necessary.

I find myself hoping every time I see this that a very angry bumble bee will entangle itself in the armpit hair. Stinging continuously in time to the beat of the loud exhaust.

circle whats wrong in this picture.

a full face helmet, dont think he should show up at the satins helpers meeting with that on

Every fashion will be taken to excess at some point. it is part of our nature. I never have understood ape hangers also. But I guess, I don't have to.

Just glad that women still believe in the little black dress!

Yeah, he's got a little ****.

I believe ape hangers were invented by someone in the laundry business. They are perfect for hanging up your clothes to dry. Tall bars on a windy day....ah what a sight.
