Frankly, if CBA really cares about the partying, they should all go ride rides that result in fines NOW :) Otherwise, they just don't care about the CBA.Therefore, the CBA promotes IBA rides.

Whoa.
Well said Andrew! Now for all you IBA guyz who are pinching, don't worry.. The CBA is not a threat to your well worn backsides! :D As O'vale so eloquently states... "Therefore, the CBA promotes IBA rides."..

Good luck with the ***ociationSincerely,

TurboDave
and Turbo.. geesh dude, did the cap's button get stuck or what? Where's the love gone? LOL

While this all sounds ok now, I think I'll just wait for the first big blow out, then pay my $5 the day of the event, party long and hard, then let my membership go until the next year. :yahoo:
..and OcFJR.. you need to know that the CBA has installed a global tracking system on your skooter.. somewhere inside the engine.. so if you break the CBA's covenants, you will be paying much more than 5 bucks when you arrive!

Your idea of a fantastic day is < 10 hours in the saddle and < 400 miles traveled because you were lollygagging, poser sniffing, eating and talking.I was all ready to paypal my 5 bucks until i read the part about sniffing posers.

now -- I've never seen a hot female poser -- and if you stop and sniff, you'll probably get a black eye.

.... every poser I've seen were dudes with fresh leather, new bike, and limited skills -- i am not going to sniff any of them. :glare:

If this one rule is eliminated -- i may join.
Uhh, Rickster, dude... your computer is playing 'ricks on you again.. Not posers, you bunny sniffer... POSEY's... grab yer glasses granpa and read the original text! <grin> :D Wasn't it the black bird forum that said all us FJR guys over here were granma's? So, Rickster, you are good to go! Glad we got that one figured out. Whew. Another CBA member confirmed. Growing by leaps and bounds now.. :yahoo:
IBA and CBA are not necessarily incompatible. For example one could do this supposedly "Xtreme" IBA ride without violating the CBA rules.Streets and Trips claims 5530 miles from Deadhorse to Key West. Divided by 30 days, that's ~185 miles per day.

Since I'm not into sleep deprivation, this is one of the few IBA rides other than a simple SS1000 that holds any appeal to me. The other one is the National Parks Tour, which could also easily be done without violating CBA rules.

Now where do I send my $5? :)

-Uwe-
Now Uwe here is on track. While the rest of you IBA industrial slaves have to ride 1,000 or more a day because you have to get back to work on time, those of us who invested wisely can just take the entire summer or year off to go explore! Uwe's ride sounds much more appealing than sitting on some motorcycle seat for 18 hours straight.. :dribble: :D

Whew! Good thing I only take the scooter on short trips and save the FJR for the long rides. :p Oh and DCarver, TurboDave types like it's his last time having *** too!

Dan, don't laugh so loud, I can hear you in Rancho Cucamonga(where the hell is Cucamonga!)

 LOVE IN CAPS is still there my HERO :yahoo:

Arn't you going to have to have several smaller parties all around the country so that no one has to travel very far to get to one?

I live in Rhode Island and would be happy to host a 4 corners ride around my state. We could all be back before noon and catch a good lunch... :D

Well, let's just say I'm saving up my pennies so I can spend $160 and obtain my unlimited miles license! Then I can travel at will to see all the CBA dudes and dudettes! :D

I'm in Don, but only on the provision that my $160 is payable in Canadian (I'll just drink Canadian beer at the annual piss-up, so that should even out, eh?)

When you get it set up, let me know . I might join under a alias.

Thanks, Dan
