When I bought my Harley I did get instantly cooler -

I had a Harley (Duo) in "74 - All I ever got was broke down most of the time... :blink:

It spent more time on the trailer gett'n a cussing that it ever did haul'n me down the road.

Some guys from the local biker gang wouldn't even stop to help - and they rode Harleys.

Went back to Japanese / British and haven't looked back.

Let's face it. Harley Davidson has been able to capitalize on a gimmick in a major way.

BTW - Harley riders are just as unfriendly here as they are anywhere. I guess if I cared it would bother me, but life is way to short to let a wave get under my skin.

Don't buy the Deuce. I love those bikes, breaks my heart every time I see someone else with one.
