It was 70 this afternoon, and so I hit the twisties with the Xmoto for an hour. Great fun, especially with the new Sargent custom seat.

Temps will drop now, and we might have some snow on Sunday, but Christmas day is looking like another possible riding day.

We're heading to Kansas City in the AM to see our youngest son. Temps there are supposed to be around 0. No shovelling for me, but no riding there either.

I hope your Balls fall off too Joe.
:jester:
Don't pick on El Toro Joe. He's already pissed that I took the moniker El Toro. I wouldn't have taken it if he'd been posting enough for me to see him using it. I just fell into it, and then discovered that he was using a form of it too.

Sigh....

Balls are hanging OK, but I'm not optimistic about the -3 F low temp predicted for KC on Sunday AM. You might get your wish yet.

Living in Southern California who thinks about snow..... where I live we got slammed with 10 to 12 inches in about 8 hours. The snow closed down the freeways leading down to LA and closed the schools for two days. I can't complain however I got two extra days off.

Yepper, that was quite a shock to us all. Gone now up here in Rosamond at least but the ever looming black ice threat is hanging over our heads for riding to work in the AM. Been cagin it to work the last couple of days, almost a WEEK straight.

I loves my snow mover. I just got the blower this year, and it works awesome.

Yes I had to push the white stuff off the driveway - it was all the confetti from the celebrating that we did over a high of 80 the other day. I've only driven the cage to work a few days this fall.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

But I have paid my dues - 32 years in MN.

Snow day #3 this week. About 8 inches overnight and still falling...

Total is about foot and 1/2 for this week so far. More to come thru next weekend. Guess it'll be a white Christmas here for a change. Yay!

Can't complain yet! Waiting for the big one. Pics are from our March Storm 2008, now that's what you call snow!

Good Morning, Going somewhere?

Oh YA!!

No riding these days.... We have a very white Christmas here in MN for sure!!

Been shoveling snow all week!!

WW

Got 3" of sleet and snow last Wednesday and I made the mistake of riding in on Thursday to work....lots of ice and two incidents that led me to have to change underwear when I got home. I wont make that mistake again!

Supposed to be 5 degrees tomorrow AM but I'll be back on the bike. I have 5 riding days left this year to/from work and I need all 5 to hit my 15k miles for the year. I put on 120 yesterday so that I would just sneak in over the mark on the 31st.

SHEESH

Send some of that our way!

Started snowing here in Vermont Friday afternoon around 1:30 and it's STILL snowing! Over 18" of the white stuff at least. More at the ski areas I'm sure. HO HO HO

Tom

Can I please ask a favor of you folks that live where that white stuff falls from the sky? Could you please put "NAS" on the subject lines of your posts: Meaning "NOT ARIZONA SAFE!" I just came in from a 175 mile ride with my real son Seth and my adopted son SkooterG; and decided to check the Forum. I saw that my LaPine, OR Buddy FJRay had posted and went ahead and clicked on it, not paying real close attention to the subject. My God, almost had another freaking heart attack!

Please show some consideration for us in the Southwest where that white **** scares the hell out of us. Kindly, "NAS" ASAP!
