Can I please ask a favor of you folks that live where that white stuff falls from the sky? Could you please put "NAS" on the subject lines of your posts: Meaning "NOT ARIZONA SAFE!" I just came in from a 175 mile ride with my real son Seth and my adopted son SkooterG; and decided to check the Forum. I saw that my LaPine, OR Buddy FJRay had posted and went ahead and clicked on it, not paying real close attention to the subject. My God, almost had another freaking heart attack!
Please show some consideration for us in the Southwest where that white **** scares the hell out of us. Kindly, "NAS" ASAP!
I dunno Don. I think the idea of being that close to SkooterG with his flying record would scare me worse than a little snow. :D

I rode Friday as it was 54 here and not much wind. Did not get out today, no snow but the windchill was -5 this morning with actual temp of 15. It never got above 22. I am not into cold endurance riding. It is supposed to get to 57 on Christmas day so who knows I may make it out then if the family activity does not prevent it. We have not had any snow yet but did get a little ice last Tuesday. That is the way of it here in OK, cold and ice one day and mild temps the next or a day or two later. That is why I do not winterize my bike. I am sorry for those of you who have to park it for the winter.

Here in KC the snow was off most of the streets on Saturday. I got out and rode in the coldest ever, for me....25 degrees F.

I wouldn't have gone out but I sold my mean streak and the guy that bought it didn't have license or insurance yet so he asked me to deliver it. All of 2.5 miles! As I pulled up his driveway and into his garage I saw snow flakes!

My last ride on that fine bike and the coldest ever for me!
