A long time ago, long enough ago to raise an adult, my very pregnant wife went to get milk. It was early morning. I was getting ready for work. My cellphone rang. It was my wife. She told me she was stuck and I needed to come get her. I tried to imagine how she got the Honda sedan stuck. We lived in town. It was dry and clear. So I asked her- how the hell did you manage to get stuck? She said in the driveway. I knew the only way she could do that was to drive off the paved driveway onto one of the planters. So I stepped outside to survey the damage. The car was not stuck. The woman carrying twins in the third trimester was stuck in the car.
And thats the day I surrendered my Cherokee and started my year of driving a Honda.
