Catastrophic Rifle Windshield Failure

Looks like the Rifle Tuning block is made of metal. Any chance you're getting electrolysis that's weakening the stock screws? Would some sort of dielectric barrier be a good idea regardless of switching to SS screws?

I found mine just before failure and they were bent badly and seem to be made out of aluminum that don't bode well for lateral movement. I found some stainless screws and have not had a problem since.
