I just installed a set of Cee Bailey headlight protectors with the dual lock velcro buttons; four on each headlight/cover. Also included in the ziplock bag with the dual lock buttons were a blister pack of 8 clear vinyl "nubs" or standoffs for lack of a better term. THey were not mentioned in the instructions, so what are they for and where do they go?

probably for resistance.... take off the shields, put them under the shield, and then put the shield back on... to avoid vibration, maybe... so they don't fall off when bumping about... that would be my take...

Reply from Cee Bailey:

Those are just extra 3M bumpon's, which are your choice if you want to use them. Basically they are attach to the headlight to keep the guard from hitting the acrylic, although on the FJR there is usually enough space between the dual locs that the guard will not touch the headlight.

Thanks,

Cee Bailey's
