cellphone service in Lewisburg??

Just curious how the area is for cellular service. I usually bring a calling card, but I always waste it, not needing it any other time of the year. It always expires by the time I remember I left it in the tank bag. So I'd rather not get one if anyone local knows if the service is OK. Verizon, btw.

I am on my way there now so I can't speak for today but I was in Lewisburg in May and had no trouble with Verizon

In and around Lewisburg, most all breeds of cell are fine. In the mountains, most all breed's service comes and goes.

If you get anywhere around Marlinton, you'll get 0. It's a "quiet Zone in the area for the Radio Telescopes nearby. Can't say about Lewisburg, never been there.
