I'm going to be busy the next 2 weekends but I am planning a saddlesore 1,000 in July. Other than that, what did you have in mind?

You know me Dave, always ready for a ride and Melissa just got her seat back from Spencer and needs to try it out. I am taking a multi week ride next month. Atlanta, to Nashville to St. Louis, to MN, Black Hills, Jackson and then home somehow.

ima back from Tenn and ready to ride. Not sure what the plans are this weekend for me. I'm boating either Sat or Sunday and it's damn hot to ride in the afternoon so I'll be getting out by 7:30am for sure.

I envy you. I was wanting to do almost the same ride and was planning on doing it next month also. Figured I could do it in two weeks and so asked the boss for two weeks of in July. Got turned down for the time off. He would only give me one week so I'm riding up to Missouri the second week in Aug. to see some family. I haven't given up on the idea and will keep trying to get the time off but I don't think it's going to be this year.
As far as riding this weekend, I think Howie forgot to take his meds again. You know my schedule. Available anytime on Sat. and prefer to ride early before the heat sets in. I'm running out of ideas on places to ride so if anybody has an idea that doesn't include kicking in doors, raping dogs and pissing on a couch let me know.

Just realized I have to pick my daughter up from camp Saturday around 10am so probably won't get to ride cuz I'll most likely boat on Sunday.
But I will email you tomorrow if things change.
I'm thinking a run out around Avon Park and the mines but I don't have any routes out there other than Agricola Mine Rd and Old Hwy 37.

I'm riding tomorrow morning. Leaving as soon as the sun comes up or maybe sooner. Headed north from Lakeland, more interesting roads in that direction, final destination unknown. Just gotta ride somewhere. Might checkout a few roads I've seen in passing near Brooksville.

I was wanting to ask how Melissa liked the Spencer seat mod. I'm thinking of having them do the stocker on the new bike and wanted her feedback.

I was planning on doing my south loop through Myakka City, Arcadia and then up towards Bartow. But I'm pretty flexible. Haven't been out for a few weeks and finally got my new front tire mounted so I'm ready to roll.
I'll have to look at a map and change the route to start somewhere other than my house! I usually end up around the mines in Bartow so maybe we could start there instead and run backwards.

Did you make it back home alright? Hope you had a good time for the first half of the ride. Everett and I ended up doing another 75 miles or so before calling it a day. It was getting pretty toasty. I ended up getting home around 1:45pm and was beat.
I think the total for the day for me was 230 miles or so. We'll probably do a Clermon / Sugarloaf Mountain run next month if you are interested.
