Thanks for the responses, FJR, J2, and RC. I have to figure out what it would cost me. May I ask, how much is the hotel, and what is the full reg fee?
The Registration fee is a mere $75.00 CDN ($66.77 USD at today's exchange.) What a great value!

Rooms run about $100 CDN /night. You may be able to split a room with another single attendee.

Bottom line is "Cheap, cheap, cheap and an amazing value for the $" You won't want to miss it if you can work it into your schedule.

Hope that helps!

Search Google images for Banff, Jasper, Icefields Parkway. Pretty easy decision after that.

Hope you can make it. I'll buy the M&M's.

Oh Boy, Oh Boy! 2 weeks from today Son Seth and I are shoving off from Valley of the Blast Furnace, Maricopa County, Arizona for the cool climes of Nakusp, British Columbia. Plan to camp in the forests of Idaho before meeting up with dj bill, Fairlaner, Jorstin, McRide, dcarver and pegscraper in Spokane on Wednes. 6/17. Let it rain, please! NO MORE DAMN HEAT!!

Sir.... you are just in the wrong part of the country.... please no rain and nice temperatures
No can do huron52! I consulted with a Hopituh Shi-nu-mu (Hopi) Shaman at Shungopavi Pueblo on Second Mesa, Arizona.

I had him perform a Kiva rain dance for Nakusp; he arranged all his Kachina Dolls and they told him that rain would come.

Hopi Magic is very strong, but you may contact an Athapascan Nahane Shaman and see if he can overpower it. No chance!!

We are having a very nice stretch of weather. I did a run to Nakusp yesterday then on to Kaslo for lunch then back home. The coolest it got was 63F in the passes and the warmest was 84F, which it was for most of the afternoon.

The only downer of the day was that someone had thrown his Hardley look-alike into a ditch near the summit of the pass between New Denver and Kaslo. Our DOT had been doing some crack-sealing on that piece of road and put down some gravel chips to "seal" the surface. While there were signs well in advance I could certainly see how he could have got in over his head if he wasn't paying attention.

The deer were sadly Abundant (with a capital A) although all had the decency to show themselves in lots of time for avoidance.

Can't wait for the 18th!

Oh, and Chuy - your Zonie native voodoo has no jurisdiction in Canada. My healer tells me it will be gorgeous weather for CFR - no rain during riding hours - but I will promise you cool evenings for sleeping!
