Atencion los Pavos Canadiensen (Canadian Turkeys): Do you Frostback Hosers think CFR 2015 might occur between Tuesday, July 28 and Thursday, Aug. 6?

https://www.rentalaska.com Steven "Jorstin" Kerns and BeemerDonS intend to rent BMW GS's during those dates to ride Yukon Territory and Southern Alaska!

Deposit monies are nonrefundable once we pay them, since Alaska is so popular: Jorstin and Papa Chuy Viejo want to secure these bikes before Thanksgiving!

You need to start harassing FJRGuy if you actually want to accomplish anything. Otherwise it's just noise.

It is a good thing that you got it already booked because thanksgiving is over for this year..... just saying....
I hear you loud and clear mi bueno Amigo Tomaso, I toasted you Frostbacks with Forty Creek and Molson eh. The original plan of Steven Kerns and BeemerDonStanley was to combine CFR 2015 with Alaska dirt riding. We were going to meet up at the Colorado River, put Jorstin's KTM 690 Enduro on the M/C trailer next to my BMW GS Twin and tag team drive my Jeep up to Nelson, British Columbia.

We were going to stash the rig in a BC storage yard, followed by 10 days of riding Yukon and Alaska dirt. But with no established dates for CFR 2015, the lodgings we needed were booking up fast due to popularity of motorcycling Alaska. If we were camping it would have been no big deal! But we needed Gracious House on the Denali Highway, Dawson-YT of course and Majestic Valley Lodge on the Glenallen.

We still need hotels/motels in Anchorage, Homer, Talkeetna and Chitina but we'll secure them in the next week. Had to rent our 650 dirt bikes, KLR and a GS!

Oops, been too busy to log in to the forum. I was hoping someone else that this was discussed with would have posted up that it will be, in fact, July 16th to 19th in Nelson.

As for CA adopting South Dakota, that would have to be a package deal. You'll have to take ND too, or else no deal.
Since no one actually lives in North Dakota and pairie dog pelts are worth nothing on the open market we'll still be nice and give you a can of Molson Canadian for the whole works. Not a Tall Boy though, North Dakota is not worth that much.
Damn it Fred, I just came back from Canada last weekend and I dont want any part of that.

YAMMAFITTER! What do you mean nobody actually lives in North Dakota? I should have pissed in the hot tub when we were having a drink together in La Crosse. That would have showed you.

I just spent last weekend in Manatoba and if it wasn't for Tim Hortons, Wiskey and Walleyes there wouldn't be anything redeeming about the place.

If that location and date are carved in stone, I will have to see if I can adjust my trip schedule for next summer. Planning a BIG tour covering much of North America and would like to see if I could drop by and spend a couple of days in the Kootenays.

Well now I don't have to worry and fret whether I have the stamina to cross Canada/US yet another time, cause July 16-19 is smack dab in the middle of cottage time and my wife won't let me, so there

Btw Don I've been to Alaska and there's nothing there but bald farts and old eagles. JSNS

Don't let BeemerDons catch you speaking like that about his beloved Manitoba. Exactly what else do you need anyways?

Don, I ensured our date was outside the dates you specified for your Alaska trip! So whats your excuse for not coming next year? ;)
