Looks like this will be our image thread as well, maybe Billy can re-title to incl "w Images"
Mine pretty much follows Mike the Wine Guy's
"Dock of the Bay" in Alex-Bay lunch. I texted Debbie, she was sad as she loves this place, oh, and my advice from her? "You better not eat all greasy food on this trip!" ...duly noted honey.

Quaint, quiet and qewl place, especially if you're a water lover like me!
Taking Debbies advice, I ordered a very healthy grilled chix salad, VERY tasty and I might be getting to like the healthier side
I planned a pretty nice non-slab route up and through to Pembroke... only problem?, it was also the same roads Billy had in his daily routes, so we saw a lot of duplicate scenery...
Twisting our way around all the beautiful lakes...
Plenty of professional photographers in our group
Portage-du-Fort; one of three consecutive dams between Ontario and Quebec Provinces. Our hometown FJR rider Chris was leading the group now, I was 2nd and enjoying the follow, but being the usual leader, my instincts were to keep a close eye on where he was taking us dang Yanks
Our Friday lunch stop was in Calabogie (and yes, we were just in 'bogie the day before on my route-in, oh well).
Chris - Rick - Dave
Sit down... yet another healthy meal for KJ... well minus the steak on it I guess, but I gotta live a little bit, eh?
Knowing Chris and Dave still wanted some more serious riding, we parted ways after lunch, and on a fuel and go, the gas station also had a LCBO beer store, great opportunity to pickup some beers for our cottage visit to Mike's teenage period friends. I'm not one to show up empty handed, and, these were Mike's friends inviting him and his fellow biking buds, we needed to bring something besides our lard *****!
Mike- Wine Guy & Dave (Sheila's hubby)
Mike's friend Sheila was very friendly and welcomed us with hugs all around. Dave was a pretty talkative guy himself, and opened up their lovely cottage to us hoodlums.
Their daily view wasn't too shabby either!
Our happy hour loca, I know.... sucked to be us!
Mike was nervous that I'd bring up some "un-cool" stories of him. Naaaaa, I don't really have any! lol.
(yes, we I left the face-plant superman dive story to our group) #respect #helpingOutFellowFJRrider #WindKnockedOutofMikey
Sheila was so entertaining!... what great hosts, they made us feel like we were family!
I did tell you Sheila was awesomely entertaining us right? Well, (hehe) here she wears a nacho on her chest, she's so cool and only laughs and let's the pictures be snapped...
And the nacho dip that she chose to wear for the day....
Our "Dock Party Shenanigans" crew. Wow, was that a fun (&funny), so very relaxing time, thanks Mike the Wine Guy for making that happen!
Rick - Mike - Dave - Mike - Sheila - KJ sitting
Saturday AM it rained up until 11am-ish. 'Fitter packed up and went home for other obligations, Chris had a large group with already too many bikes in it, so Me, Mike (wine guy) and Rick ventured off on our own for the Sheila suggested to ride the Openongo Rd. After, we ended (back) at a German House for lunch
Lunch with a view
When I returned home, I had put my Chevy Volt in the garage prior to leaving, but I stupidly left out my CTS only to find the neighbors (about .2 mi away!) aka "the local cat-house" finding their second home. It was a cool day with the sun finally appearing, but the black car I guess gave them a warm bed, and... they hardly winked an eye at me coming in on the bike. That's some very comfortable put-tee!
Great times as always with you guys, I'm on to the next with even higher expectations!
See some of you at MOA in Hamburg NY July 13-17
