Bearly Flying is the good-looking guy (who forgot his rally shirt for the pic) in the first pic in post 113 above.

BugR and Diana are in da house!

Sylvia and I still smile over one of the first times we met Diana when she emphatically told us "I am NOT Mrs. BugR!!"

See you in June - it is going to be a party.

Dave

I'm in. They tell me I just booked the penultimate room, so there's one left.

I'm thinking about heading out the week before for the WeSTOC 23 recon run down around Baker City, OR, then home to Seattle the long way 'round through Nakusp and this event. :) Looking back through my past rides I see I was at this hotel in 2011. Don't remember a thing about except the dinner we had on the lake across the street somewhere. All my past rides are starting to blend together. This either means I'm getting out on the appropriate number of rides, or I'm getting too old to remember them. I'm hoping it's the former of the two!! ;)

Who are these peeps?

The gentleman on the right is Stephen Wendelboe, a good buddy of mine from Sundre, AB who I first met at WeSTOC in 2001. Been riding with him just about every summer since. The guy left of him is his good friend Hal. Sorry I can't remember his last name?? Stephen was probably on his ST1300 and was there with his buddy Hal an FJR rider. Sadly Hal passed away this year after a long battle with brain cancer.

Anyone remember his last name? Don't know the others in this picture but they resemble the usual suspects you'll find at most motorcycle rallies.

Riding with Hal and Stephen in 2011. Good times!

You will see Don Carver (Mr. Happy) in the middle.

Good to see him making this ride.

Now if we could get Sir Richard on board for some spirited riding, we would be complete. Or will he be in some distant land saving civilization again.

I assumed that Richard's attendance was a non-starter once BC implemented the strict performance award penalty of impoundment following Barb's WCR rally on Vancouver Island in 2010. MEM and I followed him (at some distance and blinding speeds) across the island to Tofino and back, and there would be no way now that he'd be able to ride back to L.A. after the meet unless he bought another

That is another excursion I missed, unlike the group Malibu ride he led, with me and my passenger close behind. He could not shake us and frustrated the hell out of him.

He needs to reappear for this rally.

Calling Sir Richard.

Richard is easy to catch. Just wait for him to stop for a smoke.:):):)

you'll be watching for those cows on hwy 6 if you choose that route LOL

it will be good to meet you, mrpants

You got the penultimate room Pants. I just spoke to the Lodge and there is one more room left. After that we have a room block at the Selkirk Inn (around the corner about a block) and the rally code will be the same for there. Looking forward to meeting you in June. The bride and I want to ride in Louisiana so will be picking your brain!

And then there were none.
I just reserved the last room for Josh and I. We are also registered for the rally.

It's official! I'm riding to Canada this year! Holy cow!!
Now there are none.

I just got the last room for me and the wife. I also remember to pay for the rally, whoops, kinda forgot about that part.

Like hppants said it is official we are heading to Canada, can't wait.

FastJoyRide (FJR, cool) - I too look forward to meeting you and would love to host you in Louisiana, and personally show you around!

Edit - looking forward to meeting you too, Ms. Barb. Don't forget, you owe me the "Raccoon Story"!!
