Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!! Not just to be riding, but to have this massive stress headache begin to subside.

Tres amigos (bluestreek, exskibum & madmike2) are leaving from Katrina's in Auburn CA tomorrow after our 0700 breakfast. Riding up through ID to Radium Hot Springs (Monday night), then enjoying Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Revelstoke before arriving at Nakusp.

Hope to see some of you on the road.

I'm leaving in the morning also, and for once I'M ALL PACKED ALREADY! This is unheard of, you must remember, like rain in Sacramento in June. It's raining now. What's that about? Steve, Mike and Rich, have a great ride, but I'll be camping. Tomorrow's goal is Lassen Nat. Park or Burney Falls State Park, due north. Everybody have fun, be safe, and see you there!

I need to attend a board meeting tomorrow morning and then pack in the afternoon.

Meeting RogDeb, Sunday morning , in Woodland, CA. First night in Brookings,OR and then up the Oregon coast. Monday night at McMinnville, OR and the Spruce Goose. Tuesday night at Spokane Wa. after riding the Columbia River Gorge. Wednesday we cross the border and up to Nakusp for Wed. night.

Looking forward to our first trip into Canada.

If you get out here, Tofino can be done in a day from anywhere on the island (ok, well maybe not from Port Hardy, but we're not going there). From the Nanaimo ferry dock you are looking @ about a 3-4 hour ride to Tofino via Port Alberni, so you may want to plan an overnight on the other side of the mountains, then come back the next day. That's exactly what T&P are doing tomorrow. You'll want to take some time there to see Long Beach, dip your toes in the Pacific, visit this uberly cool bakery downtown and perhaps do the Roy Henry Vickers Art Gallery there. It's a funky lil town, and Long Beach is well well worth a long walk.

Then on the way back hit Coombs Country Market and maybe get some fudge...

As for Comox? That's 30 minutes from my house. You have NO need of an inn, you can stay here if you'd like.

I can rustle up a mattress and the dogs will keep you warm...*L*

Depending on when you get to the island tho, you may want to scoot to Tofino for an overnighter and then we'll ride down from here and hook up with you, then all of us head towards Nakusp, if T&P are game for that.

Call me when it works for you. Congrats on what you have accomplished baby, you rawk!

Yikes -- it's 12:38 am and my workday just ended! Bedtime for about 5 hours and then outta here. Shooting for the first 8 hour night of sleep in a month tomorrow night in Caldwell, Idaho.
